Botox is a substance with a somewhat dangerous name: purified botulinum toxin type B. However, purified botulinum toxin is completely safe for health - otherwise it would not be approved for use in medicine and cosmetology.

Treatment with Botox is a method that eliminates problems caused by muscle contraction. Botox relaxes the muscles responsible for the formation of wrinkles and only works within the muscles into which it has been injected, while the other muscles function as before the injection.
