Biotec Xlase Plus laser hair removal

Smooth skin for a long time, without ingrown hairs

Laser hair removal is a treatment that uses a concentrated beam of light to weaken hair follicles and significantly reduce hair regrowth. It is one of the most effective methods of long-term hair reduction - in both men and women.

Treatments are carried out in a series, as hair grows in different phases and the laser works most effectively in the growth phase.

Who laser hair removal is for

Laser depilation works well for:

  • women and men
  • most skin phototypes
  • many areas of the body, including sensitive ones

Most popular neighbourhoods:

  • face (moustache, beard, contour)
  • armpits
  • bikini and intimate areas
  • legs
  • chest, back, abdomen
  • neck and neck

What effects can you expect

  • hair reduction of up to approx. 90%
  • the hair that grows back is usually thinner, lighter and finer
  • the skin is visibly smoother and the need to shave and wax falls sharply
  • fewer problems such as: ingrown hairs, „strawberry legs”, pimples, razor irritation

XLase Plus technology (Biotec) and AlexPro head

We work with Biotec's XLase Plus platform - this is a state-of-the-art medical device manufactured in Italy, allowing the technology to be selected according to the needs of the skin and hair.

In practice, this means:

  • possibility to combine technologies (e.g. AlexPro, ND:Yag, CPL) in one treatment plan
  • precise adjustment of parameters to the skin's phototype
  • high comfort of treatment

How many treatments are needed

A series of several treatments and follow-up visits are usually recommended. The number of sessions depends on:

  • body area
  • hair type
  • skin phototype
  • hormone management

During the consultation, we choose a realistic plan, without promising miracles after one shot.

Preparation for treatment (important)

The first treatment is preceded by a dermatological consultation and a laser test (patch test) to select safe parameters.

Pre-treatment recommendations:

  • skin should not be dry or irritated (moisturise a few days beforehand if necessary)
  • the day before the treatment the general area (leave an approx. 5 cm „window” to assess the hair - if requested by the practitioner)
  • do not tan your skin (sun, tanning bed, self-tanner)
  • avoid alcohol 24 hours before and 24 hours after
  • do not use creams or lotions on the day of treatment - the skin should be clean
  • avoid aspirin and blood thinners (if you take them continuously - consult this)

What the treatment looks like

The procedure does not require anaesthesia. The sensations are most often compared to:

  • gentle prick
  • a short pinch
  • slight „warmth”

Sensations may be stronger in more sensitive areas. There may be a brief redness or slight swelling after the treatment - this is a natural reaction of the skin.

Recommendations after treatment

Complications are rare and most often result from non-compliance with recommendations.

Possible reactions:

  • frequent (short-term): redness, slight „sunburn”, mild swelling
  • rare: discolouration, scabs, blisters, bruises, scars

For 2-3 days:

  • wash your skin gently (soap-free gel, alcohol-free toner, water)
  • dry, do not rub
  • you can use: talc, Bepanthen/Dermopanthen (as recommended)
  • after underarm depilation: avoid deodorants and antiperspirants for a short time

For 2 weeks:

  • do not use scrubs or exfoliating cosmetics

For four weeks:

  • ban on sunbathing
  • mandatory SPF 50+ for the treatment area
