§ 1
General provisions
1. these Regulations, hereinafter referred to as „Regulations”, set out the rules for the use of cosmetic services provided in the salon/cosmetic salon SYLVIA BEAUTY STUDIO

(2) Clients of the Salon are required to read the Terms and Conditions before proceeding with any cosmetic treatment, hereinafter referred to as a „Treatment”.
(3) Joining the Treatment is tantamount to accepting the provisions of the Regulations. Each Client is obliged to comply directly with its provisions from the moment of joining the Treatment.
§ 2
Customers
1 The customer of the Salon may be any natural person of full age.
(2) It is permissible for minors over the age of 13 to receive Treatments with the express consent of their parents, guardian or legal representative. An employee of the Salon shall be entitled to request at any time the relevant consent or to establish a connection with the person entitled to consent in order to confirm the consent, and to refuse to provide the Treatment, in the absence of consent or refusal to give consent.
§ 3
Hygiene and safety
(1) Flat surfaces and other items of Salon equipment with which the Client does not come into direct contact during the Treatment shall be disinfected or sterilised at least once a day.
(2) Salon employees are obliged to carry out systematic health checks in order to eliminate all diseases, infections, illnesses and ailments that could expose Clients to harm or pass on to Clients.
(3) Salon employees with open wounds and cuts or oozing skin lesions that cannot be properly protected from contact with the Client's body shall be excluded from the provision of cosmetic services until the above deviations have been completely corrected.
4 Only disinfectants approved for use in a beauty salon shall be used in the Salon.
§ 4
Provision of cosmetic services
(1) Before starting the Treatment, the Worker carries out an interview with the Client in order to determine whether the Client's health condition, past or present illnesses, as well as lifestyle constitute contraindications to the Treatment or pose a risk of side effects, and to determine post-treatment recommendations.
(2) Each Client is made aware of the contraindications, side effects and post-treatment recommendations, and by entering into the Procedure they are fully aware of them and accept them. In the case of the most serious Treatments and complications, the Worker has the right to receive a written confirmation to this effect and to refuse to carry out the Treatment in the absence of the Client's willingness to make such a declaration.
(3) Clients, prior to the beginning of the Treatment, are obliged to inform the Employee of any ailments and contraindications that may affect the course of the Treatment, in particular: heart disease, use of a pacemaker, cancer, inflammatory conditions in the acute phase, history of jaundice and other infectious diseases, pregnancy or the postpartum period, prostheses or IUDs (e.g. intrauterine devices) in their possession, taking medicines that reduce blood clotting and unusual reactions to the sight of blood or interrupted continuity of body tissues.
4 Whenever a Treatment is not carried out in a series with a maximum interval of 7 days between successive Treatments or before the start of the next series which follows a period of more than 14 days, the Client must confirm the validity of the interview and the information provided.
(5) The Client is obliged not to possess any jewellery during the Treatment. Any valuables are to be kept by the Client at his/her own risk.
6 Clients are obliged to inform the Worker immediately if they become unwell during the course of the Treatment.
7 If there are doubts about the safety of carrying out the Treatment, the Employee may refuse to carry out the Treatment.
(8) A member of staff shall also be entitled to refuse to carry out a Treatment if he/she is in doubt as to whether the Client is planning to defraud the Treatment and if the Client is found to be under the influence of alcohol or intoxicants.
§ 5
Payment
(1) The client is obliged to pay for the cosmetic services provided. The price list and terms of payment for the treatments are displayed in the salon and on our website.
(2) The Salon reserves the right to conduct temporary promotions for the Treatments provided at the Salon. Taking advantage of the reduced price or promotional offer may be subject to separate rules, which will be made public. Clients who have paid the full price of a Treatment shall not be entitled to any claims on account of the promotion.
§ 6
Complaints
(1) The Client has the right to make a complaint about the way in which the Treatment was performed or its effects, within 7 days of the performance of the Treatment or the occurrence of undesired effects of the Treatment. In order to make a claim, it is necessary to prove the performance of the Treatment at the Salon in any form.
(2) Complaints shall be submitted in writing in person at the Salon or by registered mail sent to the address of the Salon. It is advisable to enclose photo documentation with the claim.
3 All complaints will be acknowledged within 14 days.
(4) If the complaint is accepted, the Salon will refund the price of the Treatment to the Client and allow the Client to benefit from a free corrective Treatment, which will be performed by a supervisor over the Employee performing the original Treatment. The Salon may offer additional benefits as compensation.
(5) In the event of refusal of a complaint, the Customer shall have the right to appeal against this decision within 14 days. In the appeal procedure the above provisions shall apply accordingly.
(6) In the event that the Treatment is disputed immediately after it has been performed, the Client is not relieved of payment for the service provided - in the event that his/her claims are legitimate, any refund will be made in full. However, the Salon reserves the right to exempt the Client from payment in case of obviously justified grounds for complaint.
§ 7
Other provisions
(1) Smoking and the use of tobacco and nicotine products, including electronic cigarettes, are strictly prohibited throughout the Salon, as is the consumption of alcoholic beverages and other stimulants and intoxicants.
(2) It is forbidden to bring animals into the Salon.
§ 8
Final provisions
(1) Every Customer has the right to inspect the regulations, price list and certificates referred to by the Salon or the Employees.
(2) The Salon reserves the right to amend the regulations. The new provisions are binding from the moment they are published in the Salon. The previous provisions shall apply to bookings and Treatments performed before the change.
(3) Any disputes arising from the provision of cosmetic services should, in the first instance, be resolved amicably.
(4) These regulations are effective as of 01.01.2019.
