Sylvia Beauty Studio Salon's mission is to help people struggling with problems such as hair loss, male and female pattern baldness, seborrhoeic dermatitis, psoriasis, itchy scalp and female androgenetic alopecia.

Because we have most of the trichology modalities available on the market in the UK, the therapy is individually created to suit the needs of the trichology client.

We offer trichological treatment protocols using needle mesotherapy, platelet-rich plasma, oxygen infusion, laser irradiation, Led light, darsnonvitalisation, peptide therapies and trichoscopy (examination of the scalp under a camera)

The treatments are performed by Marta Kucharska, M.Sc., a cosmetologist-trichologist by training, she graduated from the Medical University of Szczecin and has been working in our salon for several years!

What does it do?

Trichology, which is a specialisation encompassing comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of the scalp and hair. It is a field that takes action to improve the condition of the scalp and hair through the implementation of an appropriate trichological treatment, cooperation with doctors of various specialities or through the introduction of an individually selected trichological preparation tailored to the specific problem.

Trichoscopy

Using a specialised microcamera, the examination area is magnified by up to 500x, allowing us to carry out a detailed diagnostic examination to determine the condition of the scalp, the degree of exfoliation, the condition of the follicle orifices, the level of sebum secretion and the thickness of the hair and its structure. The examination is non-invasive and painless and can be performed on pregnant women and children.

How to prepare?
  • 24 hours before your appointment, do not wash your hair - this will allow us to get a reliable image of your scalp under the microcamera,
  • Do not use any hair styling products such as hairspray, paste, dry shampoo before your appointment,
  • if you have recently had your hair coloured, wait two weeks after colouring,
  • prepare a list of medications, supplements you are taking on a regular basis,
  • It will be useful to prepare a list of products used for daily hair care,
  • if blood tests have been performed 6 months apart, bring them with you to your appointment.

- Enhanced Thyroid Profile (Thyroid Profile 2),
